This page summarizes how Ureka Technologies, Inc. handles information when you use Ureka and related services. The wording is aligned to the current in-app consent and data privacy screens.
1. Information we collect
We may collect account identifiers, audio you choose to upload, generated transcripts, analysis results, short summaries, and subscription or usage data needed to operate the service.
2. What stays on your device
Recordings remain on your device unless you choose to upload them. You can delete local recordings within the app.
3. How we use data
Uploaded audio is used to generate transcripts, conversation analysis, summaries, and follow-up conversations, and to support account, billing, and product operations.
4. Consent to record
You are responsible for obtaining any consent required by law before recording or uploading conversations involving other people.
5. Children and family recordings
If a recording includes a child, you must be the parent or legal guardian, or have consent from the parent or legal guardian. Ureka is not designed to be directly used by children under 13.
6. Retention
Uploaded raw audio is deleted after transcription is completed. Transcripts are stored securely for up to one week so you can review or download them. Short summaries may be retained longer to support continuity inside the product.
7. Controls inside the app
Users can manage language, auto-upload behavior, privacy review, account deletion, and other setup items in Settings. Optional location and time controls are used only to enforce user-configured recording rules.
8. Account deletion and support
You can request deletion of your account inside the app. For privacy-related concerns or requests, email xxx.
